I learned a lot of things during this 2 day workshop. From Basics to advanced stuffs from Python Basics to advance ML. It was a great experience learning from you. I hope to Learn more quality Content from you in future.

My IDEA is based on Attendance System Using facial recognition and open-cv

 1) Attendance System

Face recognition has become very useful and essential in terms of security purpose also tracking a users presence is becoming very crucial in today’s world, so an attendance system based on facial recognition can act as a real world solution to this problem and can be very useful for solving the problem of Marking the attendance of students or employees accurately Humans can sometimes make mistakes but the machine will do it’s job accurately and efficiently if implemented properly.

The manual entering of attendance in sheets or books can we very difficult and  cumbersome and takes a lot of time also, so we can designed an efficient module that comprises of face recognition using LBPH algorithm(OpenCV) to manage the attendance records of employee or students.

During enrolling of a user, we take multiple images of a user along with his/her id/roll number and name also.

The presence of each student/employee will be updated in database, and the user can check their attendance on the webpage also.

This process can give us more accurate results in user interactive manner rather than the existing attendance systems.

This also gives students/employees a more accurate result in user interactive manner rather than existing attendance management system

For The above project we need to use some basics tools and algorithm for implementing the attendance system.

   1. webcam (hardware) open-cv (library in  
python) 

2.First of all we need to collect data (images) of  students consisting their id/roll number their name using open-cv

3. Then we need to put the students data inside a database 

4. LBPH algorithm can be used to train the model with the data acquired

 This was my project IDEA regarding the technologies that I have learnt about in the workshop.

2) Door Opener with Facial Recognition & Voice Output

In Today's world security is vey important.

By using some Machine Learning and Technology like open-cv and some IoT devices to built a securtiy system

Which enables us to recognize the person which is entering our home .

And then decide whether to allow that person to enter or not using face recognition and Machine learning detection algorithm like RCNN or MARK RCNN

 

My Idea is that we can recognize the face and motion of a person and the basis of some criteria or factor we can then allow them to enter in our house.

For opening the door we can use a motor or some mechanical hand that will automatically open the door without our help

we can also detect motion of a person if some unwanted person tries to enter our home by using motion detection sensor like MOTION click

 
MOTION click is a motion detector sensitive only to live bodies. It carries PIR500B, a pyroelectric sensor. The click is designed to run on 3.3V power supply only. It communicates with the target processor over RST and INT pin on the mikroBUS line

 

 

We can Implement a voice for welcoming a  person with voice Synthesizer to make it more advance and professional looking

And for running all this software and hardware systems with the integration we have to use an os. we can use any os like windows or linux.

But I would like to use linux as it is more secure and have much more compatibilty with all these software and hardware systems
